So the A-U-T before the TIPSE TREATS in the logo is my nickname....Aut. Full name is Autumn... yes that's right, born on the first day of Fall, but I will let you figure out what day that is :)

 

Tipse Treats is my baby. Every ounce of my love, passion and sweat goes into this company, and I have big dreams for it! It all started when I was in Melbourne, Australia. On every corner there was a cupcake shop, and I couldn't help but go inside and buy one at each store! I just LOVED the idea of tiny cupcakes, cutely decorated and couldn't help but relish in the idea that eating 4 or 5 little cupcakes was far better then eating one big one. At one particular store, it was full of unique and exotic flavors, and they started to remind me of popular shots back in the States. I stood there and thought, 'Man, wouldn't it be awesome if you could somehow get the alcohol into the cupcake AFTER baking!?!' I knew there has always been alcohol infused cakes and cupcakes but the alcohol is put into the batter before cooking, so the alcohol burns out. Was it possible?

When I came back to the states, I tinkered and experimented until I finally developed the most incredible, EDIBLE alcoholic cupcake.......the FIRST ever cupcake shot!

I am so proud to say that Auts Tipse Treats is now a Patented company! YIPPEE!

As for me, I live in Cleveland, Ohio with my darling hunny, 2 Yorkies, a Boxer and a tarantula. And although I am very proud of my cupcakes, my greatest concoction yet has been my son, who came out of the oven, August 23 2012.
